The primary concern was to prevent a financial crisis when the major Swiss bank UBS took over its struggling Swiss rival Credit Suisse on March 19. But it was also about winning back the trust of customers who had previously withdrawn massive amounts of money from the second largest Swiss bank. The latter, i.e. the trust of the customers, has apparently not yet been able to regain the money house. This is shown by the quarterly figures that Credit Suisse published on Monday, probably for the last time.
