Corsair 45WQHD240: pre-order phase for the OLED display

The gaming screen unveiled last August Corsair Xeneon Flex 45WQHD240 (PRAD News) has received an official German product page with new information and a pre-order option. We therefore take a closer look at the 45-customs service-Model.

The device is equipped with a WOLED panel from LG, which can either be used flat or bent up to an extreme 800 R. The curvature has to be adjusted manually using handles on the side edges of the display. Other key data include UWQHDresolution (3440 x 1440 pixels, 21:9), maximum 240 Hz refresh rate and a 0.03 ms faster gray change.

In addition, the data sheet states 100 percent sRGB, 98.5 percent DCI-P3, 10 bits color depth, a peak brightness of 1000 cd/m² and a contrast ratio of 1,500,000:1 (previously it was 1,350,000:1). There doesn’t seem to be a DisplayHDR certification (yet?), but there is HDR10-Support at the start. as antitearingtechnologies include FreeSync Premium and G-Sync compatible Adaptive Sync. In the absence of FreeSync Premium Pro, you will probably choose between Sync and HDR have to decide.
