In the district of Munich there was a jump in the seven-day incidence on Sunday; the guideline value is approaching the threshold of 50. From Saturday to Sunday the incidence increased from 38.2 to 45.9 – in the state capital the value was even significantly higher at 54.4. The Robert Koch Institute identified a total of 161 detected infections with the coronavirus in the district over the past seven days.
Since the seven-day incidence has exceeded the threshold of 35 three days in a row, new access rules apply from Monday. Access to many indoor offers is only possible for those who have been vaccinated, recovered or tested negative (3-G rule). In the district, the seven-day incidence rose above the value of 35 for the first time and has been well above it since then.
The ordinance published on Friday evening amending the 13th Bavarian Infection Protection Ordinance by the Ministry of Health defines the new rules. With a view to the beginning of the fourth wave, the Prime Minister’s Conference had already agreed on this path on August 10th.
From Monday on, tests are a prerequisite for participation in events in closed rooms, i.e. public and private events, sports and cultural events, for access to indoor catering, the use of body-friendly services in closed rooms, access to certain leisure and cultural facilities, such as theaters and cinemas, indoor sports and accommodation. Here you need a test on arrival and an additional test every 72 hours. The new rule also applies to visits to hospitals and homes. A negative test result of a PCR test that is no more than 48 hours old or an antigen test that is not more than 24 hours old is valid. Bavaria’s Health Minister Klaus Holetschek (CSU) appealed to continue to support each other and to show consideration. “Adhere to the corona protective measures and pay attention to the hygiene rules. Corona is still dangerous and highly contagious,” says the minister.
Meanwhile, the special vaccination campaigns in the Munich district continue at the beginning of the week. On this Monday and Tuesday, August 23 and 24, the district’s vaccination bus will stop at the Jochen Schweizer Arena at Ludwig-Bölkow-Allee 1 in Taufkirchen from 10 a.m. to 5.30 p.m., where drive-on vaccinations will take place offered. On Tuesday, district citizens can also get vaccinated at TSV München Solln in Herterichstrasse 151 in Munich (4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.); Immunizations are also offered on Tuesday at the Victor’s Residenz Hotel at Keplerstrasse 14 in Unterschleißheim (11 a.m. to 6 p.m.). Registrations are not required.
