She railed against vaccinations and wished corona expert Anthony Fauci death. Conspiracy influencer Cirsten Weldon has now died after suffering from Covid.

According to US media reports, the prominent vaccine opponent Cirsten Weldon died of Covid 19 disease. This is what “The Daily Beast” and “Business Insider” report. Weldon had regularly spread conspiracy stories around the coronavirus on social media and was considered a star of the right-wing extremist QAnon movement. Her videos reached tens of thousands of followers.

Weldon railed particularly fiercely against vaccinations against the corona virus. “The vaccines kill, don’t take them,” she exclaims in a video for which she mingled with a line of people who wanted to be vaccinated, reports Daily Beast. She described the people present who wanted to be vaccinated as “gullible idiots”. In another video, she demands that leading US immunologist and government advisor Anthony Fauci must be tied on a rope.

Last post from the hospital

At the end of December, Weldon had to be admitted to a California hospital with Covid-19 symptoms. She reported via social media that she had rejected the anti-Covid drug Remdesivir and spoke of “bacterial pneumonia”. Her last social media post is from December 31st and shows her on an oxygen device. After Weldon’s death, other QAnon activists threatened violence against hospital staff, Daily Beast reports.

In the United States, there have been repeated reports in recent months about well-known vaccine opponents and corona deniers who have died of the disease themselves. It was only in early January that radio host and vaccination opponent Douglas Kuzma, who allegedly caught the virus at a right-wing gathering in Texas, died.

The TV preacher Marcus Lamb, founder of a Christian television station who warned millions of viewers of the “deadly danger of a vaccination” and preferred to pray, also died of Covid-19 at the beginning of December. Other prominent corona deaths are those of TV presenter Dick Farrell, who is critical of vaccinations, or TV preacher Irvin Baxter.
