The heads of government of the federal and state governments have decided to relax the corona measures. Most restrictions will be abolished in three stages by March 20th.
The basis of the talks between Chancellor Olaf Scholz (SPD) and the heads of government of the federal states was the draft for a three-stage plan that will gradually remove the restrictions. Chancellor Olaf Scholz speaks of “confidence” and “good signs”.
The Chancellor and the heads of the federal states “agree that the infection protection measures currently in force should now be scaled back responsibly and in controlled steps,” the draft decision said. “At the same time, as many accompanying measures as necessary should be maintained in order not to jeopardize what has been achieved.”
