Two more deaths related to an infection with the corona virus have been reported to the Ebersberg health department. The deceased were born in the 1940s, according to the district office. The number of deaths since the beginning of the pandemic has thus increased to 274.
In the district clinic, 41 patients with a confirmed infection with the virus are currently being treated on the normal ward. A person with a Covid 19 disease has to be cared for in the intensive care unit.
Overall, there are still many new corona cases, even if the numbers are declining overall. On Friday, 242 new infections were reported in the Ebersberg district. In the previous week there were 355 new cases on the comparison day. According to the Robert Koch Institute dashboard, the value for the seven-day incidence in the Ebersberg district was 1019.5 on Friday, so it continues to fall.
