ConsenSys, the blockchain infrastructure platform behind Metamask and Infura, has opened a Private Beta Testnet for a new scaling and privacy technology called zkEVM built on top of Ethereum.
ConsenSys will use a test network.to exploresuch technology ZkEVM stands for Zero-knowledge Ethereum Virtual Machine, which allows developers to build applications using the same tools and coding languages they are familiar with. on Ethereum, but without learning the necessary coding and math skills.
The ConsenSys testnet has had over 150,000 participating applications since December. Participants can connect assets between Goerli testnet and zkEVM to test smart contracts, dapps, infrastructure, and wallets.
