“LOL: Last One Laughing” soon with Bleibtreu and Krömer

Who laughs last? That’s what “LOL: Last One Laughing” is about next spring. The first participants have been determined.
The first names for the fourth season of the popular streaming show “LOL: Last One Laughing” have now been set. Next time the comedy show will include Martina Hill, Cordula Stratmann, Moritz Bleibtreu, Hazel Brugger, Michael Mittermeier, Jan van Weyde, Elton and Kurt Krömer. This was announced on Monday by the Amazon service Prime Video. The show, nominated for the German Television Award, will start its fourth run in April 2023.
The format, which also exists in other countries, was launched in Germany for the first time in April 2021. The concept: A number of entertainers and comedians try to make each other laugh in a studio for several hours. The candidate who doesn’t laugh wins. The winners of the first three seasons were Max Giermann, Torsten Sträter and Anke Engelke.
The publication of the third round was overshadowed by the fact that participant Mirco Nontschew died shortly after the recording. The creators decided to broadcast, but set a small monument to Nonchev. At the very end of the season, a photo of the popular comedian appeared, with the words: “Thank you dear Mirco! You will always be in our hearts.”
