Comeback of “TV Total” – as relaxed as it is accurate – media

from

Cornelius Pollmer

In a comeback, the eye looks for the familiar, and on Wednesday evening Pro Sieben will find just the right amount of it. In the opening credits, a horned television turns in a circle, then the camera sweeps around the studio once. The production line still looks silty, the huge cardboard card is back, and in front of it the voice of a viewer who was arrested spontaneously for the moderation soon breaks. And then there is the “Raab der Woche” in the background, a kneeling golden boy with a massive tube television perched on his back. There is still nothing else to be seen in it than a modern Sisyphus who takes on the burden of all bad television.
