An education assistant from Olympe de Gouge middle school de Montauban (Tarn-et-Garonne) was indicted on Friday and then imprisoned for the rape of a student of the establishment. The 62-year-old man is suspected of “rape of a 15-year-old minor by a person who has more than five years of age difference”, indicated this Tuesday Bruno Sauvage, the public prosecutor of Montauban, confirming information revealed by The Midi Dispatch.
The regional daily specifies that the victim was 13 years old at the time of the facts, which would have occurred several times.
The investigation was opened after the mother of the victim made a report to the National Education and filed a complaint. The sexagenarian was not known so far to the police, said the prosecution.
