At the eighth Austrian World Summit in Vienna, Arnold Schwarzenegger met former “GNTM” winner Barbara Meier.

The international climate protection conference Austrian World Summit took place in Vienna for the eighth time. This year’s event on June 20, which was held under the motto “Be Useful: Tools for a Healthy Planet”, was once again hosted by the “Styrian Oak” Arnold Schwarzenegger (76). At the event he met the former “Germany’s next Topmodel” winner Barbara Meier (37), who also took part in the event in an official capacity.

“Governator” Schwarzenegger took the stage on Thursday at the Austrian World Summit in Vienna’s Hofburg in a traditional Styrian jacket and gave a passionate speech in favour of environmental protection. “Talk alone will not help us, but actions will,” he told the Austrian According to the “Kronen Zeitung” in English and added: “I can see a world with clean, blue skies. A world – no matter where you live – where you can drink water anywhere, without fear, like I could here in Austria.”

In addition to Meier and host Schwarzenegger, Austrian Federal President Alexander Van der Bellen (80), EU Commissioner Maroš Šefčovič (57) and Monika Langthaler (58), the director of the climate conference, were also present in Vienna.

The Austrian World Summit has been held annually since 2017. The event is organized by the Schwarzenegger Climate Initiative.
