Circle plans to bring Euro Coin to Solana blockchain and expand cross-chain protocol to Solana in the first half of 2023.
Circle launched Euro Coin exclusively in Europe with the popular USDC in June. Euro Coin works the same way. But it was pegged to the euro instead of the dollar. Currently only on the Ethereum blockchain.

Circle also plans to extend the cross-chain transfer protocol — which hasn’t been released yet — to Solana as well. The protocol was announced in September and will go live in early 2023 on Ethereum and Avalanche, Circle expects. It will apply to Solana in the first half of 2023.
