The series jerks is one of the best German TV formats. The actors Christian Ulmen and Fahri Yardım, also friends in real life, play gently fictionalized versions of themselves in it. Two chaotic people who find themselves in one embarrassing situation after the other. The agony of foreign shame is sometimes almost unbearable – and that’s exactly why you can’t stop watching.
