Chase through Munich: Police arrest intensive offenders – Munich

With his most recent entries in the police files, a 16-year-old from Munich is now approaching 100. The intensive offender has recently been investigated for burglary in restaurants, car theft, driving without a license, endangering road traffic and various traffic offences. Because there was an arrest warrant for other offenses, the teenager was kept in the detention center at the police headquarters.

The 16-year-old was noticed by a patrol around two o’clock on Monday because he was driving a Toyota on Garmischer Straße without a light. After a chase through the city, in which the young person repeatedly drove through red lights and at excessive speed against the roadway and sometimes on the sidewalk, the car was finally stopped near the Sendlinger Tor and the 16-year-old was overpowered.

In the small car, the key to which he had previously stolen from a restaurant in Forstenried, were three buddies aged 14, 17 and 19 who were also known to the police.
