As the year closes to 2021, Charles Hoskinson shares some insights into Cardano’s roadmap for the coming year. including what happened in the last 12 months
Reflecting on the growth of Cardano and the entire crypto industry, Hoskinson talks about the NFT token revolution, DeFi’s popularity, and how hackers targeted DeFi projects, leading to losses of over 10.5k. Millions of dollars in 2021 alone.
whentalk aboutCardano’s success this year, Hoskinson noted that Cardano has issued more assets. He added that there are currently more than 127 projects coding to build decentralized applications (dApps) on the network, with around 20 to 30 launching within the next three months. page
According to Charles Hoskinson, some of Cardano’s key plans for next year are: “Next year, what will happen is that there will be an official open-source project structure similar to Hyperledger to Linux and us. You will see many institutions connected to it. and all who are working in it will be renovated. including me,” he explained.
Africa has always been part of Cardano’s strategy and next year the project looks set to expand into the continent. As many African countries still lack financial inclusion, Hoskinson said the Cardano Foundation is planning to “Building a Financial Operating System” in Q2 2022 That Will Give Africans Access to DeFi Services
“My goal for the second half of 2022 is to figure out a way to put all the pieces together. to enable end-to-end microfinance transactions on Cardano.”
Earlier this year, Cardano signed a cooperation agreement with Tanzania. To provide residents with access to social, digital and financial empowerment and in August IOHK cooperatewith the European Business University of Luxemburg to provide students with additional educational options in African countries.
The project’s founder reiterated Cardano’s long-term goal that all necessary equipment and tools were lacking at the time. Now we are ready to achieve those goals.
