The Champions League season starts. Who will broadcast the opening games of the four German participants Bayern, Dortmund, Leipzig and Union?
Four German teams start the new Champions League season this week. Premier class permanent guest FC Bayern Munich as well as Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig and sensational participants 1. FC Union Berlin are representing the Bundesliga this year. While the sympathies are likely to be clearly divided in most games, some fans still wonder what the distribution of broadcast rights actually looks like for the respective games. If you want to see all the games, you can’t avoid a Dazn and Prime Video membership. RB Leipzig will kick off the German teams on Tuesday (September 19th): In Group G, coach Marco Rose’s (47) team will face Young Boys Bern away. Preliminary reporting starts at 6:15 p.m. on Dazn, kick-off is at 6:45 p.m. Marco Hagemann (46) comments on the game, and Seb Kneißl is at his side as an expert.
Also on Tuesday, although it can be seen via the streaming service Prime Video, the premier class begins for Dortmund, who had a bumpy start to the Bundesliga. FC Bayern Munich will face FC Copenhagen (October 3rd) and Galatasaray Istanbul (October 24th) in Group A in the first half of the season. RB Leipzig will also face the reigning CL winners Manchester City (October 4th) and Red Star Belgrade (October 25th). 1. FC Union Berlin still has to play against Sporting Braga (October 3rd) and SSC Napoli (October 24th). And in the “Group of Death F”, after the game against Paris St. Germain, BVB will face duels with AC Milan (October 4th) and Newcastle United (October 25th).
