Celebrity news: Heidi Klum sings with Snoop Dogg for new top model season – Panorama

Tina Ruland, 55, actress and “jungle camp” candidate, needs the money. Like her Colorful told, she only takes part in the RTL show for financial reasons. “The last two years have been catastrophic, of course I can use the money very well.” In any case, she doesn’t have to go to the “jungle camp” to get to know her limits. Her sons have very different opinions about their participation: The eleven-year-old sees the whole thing as a great adventure. She had to promise the 17-year-old not to be embarrassed under any circumstances.

Heidi Klum, 48, top model and presenter, now also sings. Together with US rapper Snoop Dogg, 50, she recorded the theme song for the new season “Germany’s Next Topmodel”. The song “Chai Tea with Heidi” was produced by Klum’s husband Tom Kaulitz. She said to the dpa: “I know: I have a voice that you can recognize very well. I am often aped, and my voice is described as very squeaky or high-pitched. But maybe that was an advantage with this song.”

Francis, 85, Pope, was in the record store. The Holy Father went from the Vatican to the shop near the Pantheon on Tuesday evening to bless it, the press office of the Holy See told the Italian news agency Ansa. The owners are therefore friends of Francis from the days before his pontificate when he came to Rome. He had promised several times that he would visit the shopkeepers again. The Pope stayed in the newly renovated shop for a quarter of an hour – and was given a CD of classical music.

Ekow Nimako, 42, Canadian-Ghanaian artist, builds on a large scale. He makes sculptures – only from Lego bricks and always in black. His works are very different from what Lego usually stands for, said Nimako the broadcaster CNN: “This is art. No hobby, no toy.” He started in 2012, two years later he built the first human figure, “Flower Girl”, with which he wants to remember the story of enslaved black women. The sculpture was originally the size of a six-year-old, but after being redesigned it is now the size of a ten-year-old. For each work he needs 50 to 800 hours.

Diane Kruger, 45, Hollywood star, had a hard time with Quentin Tarantino. The director had everyone auditioned for the casting for the film “Inglorious Basterds” – except for them because he had seen them in a film that he didn’t like. “He didn’t believe in me from the start,” said Kruger on the Reign with Josh Smith podcast. At some point, however, there was no one left who wanted to. For the audition, she then had to fly from New York to Germany at her own expense to meet Tarantino there. She wanted to prove what she can, said Kruger. “And luckily everything worked.” In the film, Kruger played the German actress and spy Bridget von Hammersmark. She thinks the experience was a lesson for Tarantino too: “Sometimes you put people in boxes, that happens to me too. And then they are not what you thought they were.”

Mark Wahlberg, 50, US actor, challenges his colleagues George Clooney and Dwayne Johnson in the liquor business. He recently invested in the tequila brand of two young Mexican entrepreneurs, he told CNN – knowing he has prominent competition. Both Clooney and Johnson make their own tequila, and Kendall Jenner has a brand too. “I’ve tried their product, but not mine yet!” Said Wahlberg. The others knew how competitive he was. His goal: to become number one among the tequilas.
