Celebrities at Oktoberfest: Final spurt with Joko Winterscheidt, Oliver Pocher and Usain Bolt – Munich

Who? Kai Pflaume, TV presenter and long-distance runner (New York Marathon in 3:33 hours). Mario Gomez, formerly responsible for scoring goals as a footballer, today as a football consultant at Red Bull responsible for the strategy of canned football in Leipzig and New York. Joko Winterscheidt, TV presenter and chocolate seller (“Jokolade”, höhö).

How? Three middle-aged men, physically in top shape and with perfect toothpaste smiles. The eye-catcher in this arrangement is Winterscheidt’s blue-tinted glasses.

What? On the penultimate evening of the Oktoberfest, take a look at the Beetle tent again. Maybe a new job will open up as a traditional jacket model for the 2025 Oktoberfest season.

Who? Marion Kiechle, chief gynecologist at the Rechts der Isar Clinic, former Bavarian Minister of Science and current administrative advisor at FC Bayern. Kiechle’s husband Marcel Reif, football commentator, ensemble member of the ZDF program “The Quiz Champion” and appointed to the “Devil’s Council” of 1. FC Kaiserslautern in 2016.

How? Just finished: Ripe was in Berlin this week on Monday, in Barcelona on Tuesday, in Zurich on Wednesday, in Munich on Thursday, in Berlin on Friday – and then back in Munich. The travel plan was traced by the editor-in-chief of the Swiss broadcaster Blue Sport, for which Reif works.

What? With all the routine of an upper-class Munich society couple, they complete the obligatory visit to the Käfer tent.

Who? Still the fastest man in the world. Although Usain Bolt has been retired from sprinting for seven years, his records in the 100 meters and 200 meters remain unbroken.

How? The fastest man in the world was once again running fast on the Theresienwiese. Bolt arrived at Käfer’s on Friday when relatively few other familiar faces were spotted. At the big show on Sunday he was long gone.

What? He often stayed in Munich when he was active because his trusted doctor, Hans-Wilhelm Müller-Wohlfahrt, practices here. Did he come this time because of an ailment or just because of the Oktoberfest?

Who? Nadja Anna zu Schaumburg-Lippe hardly missed a Munich chic show with her husband in the noughties. She is now divorced, so things have become quieter for her.

How? When the camera is pointed at her, Nadja Anna zu Schaumburg-Lippe naturally knows what to do. On the bench, hand up, networker Daniela Giller in the arm.

What? Celebrated on Saturday evening in a larger group with women from different industries who were willing to climb onto the bench again and again for a photo.

Oliver Pocher with Alex Christensen (Photo: Manuel Tilgner/Agency People Image)

Who? Oliver Pocher, comedian, who documents his life in public like no other. It is learned that he wanted to fly to Miami last week, but the plane turned around in the middle of the ocean and landed back in Frankfurt. You can have such bad luck.

How? Not his first visit to the Oktoberfest. But Pocher found a few people who didn’t yet have a photo together. Alex Christensen, for example, who attacked people in the 1990s with the song “Das Boot”. Pocher thinks: He looks like Mario Barth, he would have preferred him too. Would have given more publicity.

What? Life ran more smoothly at the Oktoberfest than on a plane. Pocher was allowed to belt out “Scandal in the Restricted District” on stage at Café Kaiserschmarrn, rode on a cow figure after visiting the tent and DJed at a late-night party at Roomers. Everything already documented.

Who? Anna Maria Kaufmann is an opera singer and brought some high culture to the Oktoberfest.

How? Look into the camera spirited, determined and bold like Violetta from the opera La Traviata, which she has already performed on several stages around the world. Controls it like no other.

What? Sang the German national anthem at Wembley Stadium at the 1996 European Championship final and was on stage with Ian Gillan from Deep Purple: A performance in an Oktoberfest tent is therefore uninteresting for Anna Maria Kaufmann – in contrast to someone like Oliver Pocher.

Johann Lafer (Photo: Andy Knoth/Agency People Image)

Who? “Styrian farm boy”, multiple host of the Chancellor Summer Festival and, above all, television chef. Johann Lafer came to the Oktoberfest from the village of Guldental between Bad Kreuznach and Bingen in Rheinhessen – and drinks beer instead of wine.

How? However, when a chef sits in the beer tent, everyone doesn’t look at the glass (almost empty after all), but rather at the plate. There is a half-eaten pretzel on Lafer’s. The TV chef ate the thin part first and didn’t crumble off the salt.

What? Later he took off his jacket and posed in a checked shirt. The pretzel was already discarded.
