  • Cédric Jubillar was indicted for “aggravated murder” as part of the investigation into the disappearance of his wife Delphine.
  • The artisan plasterer was arrested and placed in police custody on Wednesday to be confronted with inconsistencies in the account of the night of the disappearance of his wife.
  • The 33-year-old nurse, mother of two children, disappeared during the night of December 15 to 16, 2020 from her home in Cagnac-les-Mines, in the Tarn. After six months of investigation, no trace of her has been found.

Cedric Jubillar would not have cracked. He wouldn’t have confessed. But the Toulouse examining magistrates in charge of the investigation into the disappearance of his wife Delphine felt that there was sufficient corroborating elements to indict him for “aggravated murder” on Friday. It is the lawyer of the suspect, Jean-Baptiste Alary, who confirmed to AFP, this new judicial step in the investigations carried out for six months on the volatilization of the nurse of
Cagnac-les-Mines.

Until Wednesday, the artisan plasterer with the puzzling personality had the status of a civil party, as a victim, in this thick mystery. But since the night of the disappearance, December 16, 2020, the gendarmes of the Toulouse Research Section have not let go of the marital trail. They notably acquired the certainty that Cédric Jubillar, in the process of separation, knew that Delphine had a new sentimental relationship. During the 48 hours that the craftsman was in custody, they confronted him with inconsistencies in his story and with the data on his telephone the night of the disappearance.

No trace of the body despite the beatings

Cédric Jubillar explained that he had last seen Delphine on the evening of December 15. She was watching TV with their oldest son when he went to bed. Then he was woken up by their 18-month-old daughter crying around 4 a.m. and found the family dogs outside the house. Noting the absence of his wife, he gave the alert. The Parisian revealed Thursday that Delphine had sent around 11 pm a selfie to her “lover of Montauban” and that she was in night dress.

For six months, despite the beatings and searches of the couple’s home, no trace of the 33-year-old mother has been found.

Dominique Alzéari, the public prosecutor of Toulouse must speak at 4 p.m. But, after this indictment of Cédric Jubillar, it is now a body that the gendarmes are looking for.
