Car rental company – Sixt is growing significantly – economy

The car rental company Sixt is benefiting from rising rental car prices and is therefore raising its profit and sales forecasts for the current year for the second time within a month. The family company now expects sales of 2.1 to 2.3 billion euros, as Sixt announced. That is 100 million more than expected in September and up to 50 percent more than in the Corona year 2020. At 390 to 450 million euros, the profit before taxes is even well above the level of the pre-crisis year 2019 of 308 million euros. According to preliminary figures, the company achieved a pre-tax profit of 253 million euros for the third quarter, almost four times as much as a year ago. Sales soared from July to September by 72 percent to 795 million euros.
