Despite problems with handling, for example, Air France-KLM is satisfied with the processes at the capital city airport BER. It is said that he meets the requirements.

The airline Air France-KLM gave the capital city BER a positive report after one year despite handling problems.

The building in Schönefeld absolutely meets the requirements of a new airport, said Germany boss Carl Schelleman of the “Berliner Morgenpost”. “Of course the airport had its teething troubles, but because everything was new, many understood them. And now you can already see that things are much better. ” There are also still many opportunities to further develop the airport.

A lack of staff and space problems in the main BER terminal caused chaos during the autumn holidays. “That could have gone better,” said Schelleman. “But we are also seeing the situation at other airports, not just in Berlin.” The difficult part is planning because the number of passengers has increased very quickly.
