The new boss welcomes you in her light-flooded office high up in the Palais des Festivals. The view sweeps over the Bay of Cannes and a whole pack of giant yachts that are anchored outside. At the weekend her first festival edition as president comes to an end, almost two weeks with superstars and appointments every fifteen minutes are now behind Iris Knobloch. But the 60-year-old looks so energetic, as if her job hadn’t really started yet.
