Campaign – free tickets for vaccination day for young people – district of Munich

The end of the big holidays is approaching and the district of Munich is offering a “Back to School” day of action at the start of the new school year beginning on September 14th. The campaign will take place on Monday, September 13th, in all four vaccination centers in the district. Immunization is possible without prior registration and appointment. Schoolchildren from the age of twelve receive not only the spades, but also free tickets for various leisure activities, such as the Jochen Schweizer Arena, the Aschheim drive-in cinema, Bavaria-Filmstadt, the Phönixbad Ottobrunn, the Aquariush leisure pool in Unterschleißheim and the Cinemas Ottobrunn / Haar. Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent. There is an opportunity for detailed medical advice on site. All under 18-year-olds are vaccinated exclusively with Biontech or Moderna, as determined by the Standing Vaccination Commission (Stiko).

“A vaccination against Covid-19 means more safety in everyday school life and in your free time, because every immunization makes an important contribution to coping with the pandemic,” said District Administrator Christoph Göbel (CSU). The district’s “Back to School” vaccination day on the day before the first day of school is part of the nationwide campaign week #HierWirdGeimpft.
