Under the previous regulations, it was not uncommon for tenants to have to pay a portion of the cable connection even though they did not use it. This will now be abolished. Now everyone can freely choose whether and how they want to receive TV offers, whether via cable, satellite, DVB-T2, Internet television or other options. Anyone who has to sign a contract themselves now should do so in June in order to be able to watch TV seamlessly.
