Cabaret artist Christian Springer about Russia and the war – Munich

Cabaret artist Christian Springer presents his new book “Me and the Russian”. In the interview, he talks about his controversy with Gerhard Polt, his mother’s longing and what happens when you look for Putin’s autograph on Ebay.

Christian Springer says of his new book that he would not have been able to sleep if he had not written it – but in the end he also slept little while writing it. For a long time, the 59-year-old cabaret artist has been campaigning for humanitarian concerns with his association “Orienthelfer”. At the moment, Springer says in passing, he’s learning Ukrainian. In “Me and the Russian” he focuses on the war and works on Putin. On Thursday, May 18th, he will present the new book in the old cinema in Ebersberg.
