BVB: Reinier’s father attacks Borussia Dortmund because of short periods of use

Reinier’s father is dissatisfied with his son’s seasons at BVB and attacks the club with clear words.

Mauro Brasilia, father of Real Madrid’s loan from Reinier Jesus (19), had an exclusive conversation with Goal and SPOXpuzzled about his son’s playing time at Borussia Dortmund and accused BVB of failing to recognize his potential.

“He can help the team with his style of play, which would have been urgently needed in some games,” said Mauro. “He’s mastered game control and possession football like few people, but it seems as if Borussia Dortmund didn’t understand that. They didn’t recognize this good option.”

Reinier has only been a supplementary player at BVB so far

Offensive player Reinier was awarded by the Royal to BVB for two years in the summer of 2020. So far, however, he has not gotten beyond the role of the supplementary player, in the current season he only has 66 playing minutes and is still without a goal participation.

“Reinier is still in demand with numerous big clubs in Europe,” continued his father. “Every day Borussia misses the opportunity to develop a talented young man according to its tradition and to enjoy him.”

Although his son is “only a loaner”, it is “very strange what is happening in Dortmund. It’s a shame – for both sides!”
