BVB allegedly favorite with Real star Marco Asensio – winter transfer unlikely
Is the Spaniard Marco Asensio looking for a new challenge soon? The offensive player should be a candidate for BVB.
BVB (Borussia Dortmund) is said to be in pole position following a commitment from Real Madrid’s Marco Asensio. At least that’s what the Catalan newspaper reports El Nacional. Accordingly, Asensio is aiming to say goodbye to the royal team in winter because he has not always been the first choice under Carlo Ancelotti and is accordingly dissatisfied with his role.
Borussia Dortmund is one of the interested parties alongside Liverpool, Juventus, Arsenal and Milan, and the Spaniard has already had offers from Serie A and the Bundesliga, according to the report. BVB’s favorite position in the alleged transfer poker around Asensio, who could compensate for the departure of Jadon Sancho on the wings, is due, according to El Nacional, to the good relationships between Dortmund and Royal.
On the one hand, Real President Florentino Perez and BVB boss Hans-Joachim Watzke are good friends, on the other hand, a loan deal from Achraf Hakimi between Dortmund and Real developed as a win-win situation for both clubs. While BVB benefited from Hakimi in a particularly sporting way, Real was able to sell the Moroccan on to Inter Milan at a very profitable price after the two-year loan (transfer approx. 43 million euros).
However, Reinier’s current loan from BVB, which may be prematurely terminated in winter, is much more negative. The 19-year-old offensive player hardly got a chance in almost a year and a half in Dortmund and only played 495 minutes. BVB and Asensio: That’s why a winter transfer is unlikely

A move to Borussia Dortmund from Asesnsio tends to be unlikely from other points of view as well, a firm commitment is hardly an option given the expected high transfer demand from Real. And Asensio’s alleged intention to leave Madrid in winter may also be questioned.
