In Burglengenfeld in the Upper Palatinate, unknown persons sprayed several Z symbols on a refugee accommodation. The Kripo in Amberg is investigating and is now looking for witnesses, the police said on Friday. The unknown had therefore sprayed the symbol on other buildings in the area on Thursday, signaling support for the Russian war of aggression in Ukraine.
Since the invasion of Ukraine, a white “Z” has often appeared on Russian tanks and uniforms. It stands for “Za Pobedu” – “For Victory”.
