Burglary series in Munich – police check connection – Munich

There were a number of burglaries in Munich over the weekend, and the responsible Commissariat 53 is examining possible connections. On Friday around 7:30 p.m., the police were notified by a woman in Zamdorf who had seen a suspicious hooded man in the garden of a neighboring house. The alerted officers found that a window had been forced open and several rooms were searched. It is not yet clear if anything was stolen.

On Sunday evening, a couple who also lived near Friedrich-Eckart-Strasse and Nettelbeckstrasse reported that someone had broken into their home through a balcony door on the first floor between 4 p.m. on Thursday and 5 p.m. on Sunday . Money and jewelery worth several thousand euros were stolen.

On Sunday there were two burglaries in a semi-detached house in Solln. There, a 55-year-old woman noticed that while she was away, between 2:45 p.m. and 7 p.m., someone had entered through a balcony window on the first floor and searched all the rooms. There, too, money and jewelery worth several thousand euros were missing. During the investigation, the police found that the other half of the house had also been broken into, also through a first-floor window.

An apartment in Schwabing and a house in Pasing were broken into on Saturday evening. In Pasing, the resident surprised a perpetrator, who then fled.
