Two videos have appeared on social media in which an alleged Bundeswehr soldier calls for resistance to the corona measures. Now the Bundeswehr and the Bavarian police are investigating.

Bundeswehr and Bavarian police investigate two threatening videos of an alleged soldier. As soon as the first clip appeared, the Federal Ministry of Defense announced an investigation. “There is currently a video of an alleged soldier circulating on the network, which is often shared here,” tweeted the Defense Ministry on Thursday. It contains threats against the rule of law that are unacceptable. “The consequences are already being examined.” A ministry spokeswoman did not want to provide any further information on request for legal reasons.

Suspected Bundeswehr soldier: “This is a warning”

In the first clip, about a minute long, the self-described sergeant-major demands, among other things, the withdrawal of the state corona measures and the obligation to tolerate, according to which the Covid vaccination became a regulation in the Bundeswehr. “This is a warning,” he says. “See you tomorrow” a comment is required. In the text accompanying the video it says: “The soldiers are ready for a dialogue by 4:00 p.m. tomorrow.”

The video was posted one hour after midnight by early Thursday morning at the latest. A second video appeared on Thursday afternoon in which the same person calls on police officers and soldiers to “protect” so-called corona walks. It goes on to say: “Every police officer who shows himself to be unconstitutional or violent against the population is to be arrested and prosecuted.”

The Bavarian police informed the DPA news agency: “Our commissariat for state security offenses is currently checking whether criminally relevant things have been said,” said a spokesman for the police headquarters in Upper Bavaria South. “We are in contact with the Bundeswehr.” According to Holnburger, the alleged Bundeswehr member had already threatened violence in the past because of the corona measures and called for a fight.
