FC Bayern continues to work on its squad. Now a professional should come from the competition.

According to a report by “Kicker”, Konrad Laimer will leave the Bundesliga soccer team RB Leipzig at the end of the season and switch to record champions Bayern Munich.

According to the information, the Austrian international has signed a contract. The specialist magazine did not provide any information about the length of the contract.

As the midfielder’s contract expires at the end of the season, no transfer fee is due. An agreement between the two parties is said to have existed for some time, and Laimer has been allowed to negotiate with other clubs since January 1st.

The midfielder has long been associated with the record champions. The 25-year-old moved from RB Salzburg to Leipzig in 2017 and had already trained there under the current Bayern coach Julian Nagelsmann. Even now, the coach is said to have been a reason for the Salzburg native to take the step.
