According to media reports, Mario Götze’s move to Eintracht Frankfurt is becoming more and more concrete.

The 30-year-old has already largely reached an agreement with the Bundesliga soccer team, reported Sport1. According to “Kicker”, the talks between the Hessians and the 2014 world champion are at least at an advanced stage. According to this, the Frankfurt Götze could trigger four million euros from his contract with PSV Eindhoven, which runs until mid-2024. Eintracht trainer Oliver Glasner has already exchanged views with Götze, reported the “Bild”.

Winning goalscorer in the 2014 World Cup final

Götze left the Bundesliga after his appearances for Borussia Dortmund and FC Bayern Munich in 2020. In Eindhoven, the winning goalscorer of the 2014 World Cup final blossomed again and made himself interesting for other clubs. Benfica Lisbon and Inter Miami are also said to be interested in the midfielder. The change still has to be approved by the supervisory board of Eintracht, it said.

According to the “kicker”, the signing of striker Lucas Alario from Bayer Leverkusen is also in the offing in Frankfurt. The Europa League winner basically agrees with the 29-year-old. There are still alleged differences with the Leverkusen team about the amount of the transfer fee. A completion of the transfer is therefore expected in the coming days.

Argentinian midfielder Nicolas Castro is also set to come to Frankfurt. The 21-year-old currently plays for Newell’s Old Boys in his home country. A million transfer fee would also be due for him.
