Brock Pierce and Tom Lee Expect 2022 BTC to Reach $200K, Even Missing 2021

Both Pierce and Lee believe Bitcoin will continue to rise in 2022, although this seems normal for the two of them.

Although predictions that Bitcoin will hit $100,000 by 2021 miss its target, former Block One Brock’s CSO (Chief Strategy Officer) Pierce and co-founder of research firm Fundstrat Global Advisors, Tom Lee, are also expecting. that Bitcoin will hit $200,000 in 2022

in fact The glued 2022 price forecast for the pair is more than double compared to 2021. Even though Bitcoin’s peak price was $69,000 on Nov. 10, BTC is still trading. Priced at $46,270 (subject to change after this article is published)

Tom Lee predicted that the BTC price would hit $200,000 on Dec. 23 in the Market Rebellion Roundtable. He said at the panel that:

“Bitcoin price should be able to reach the $200,000 range, I think it is possible. And I also know that it might sound a bit cheesy. But it’s very useful.”

Earlier around October, Lee kept his 2021 BTC price forecast at $100,000 as ProShares launched the first Bitcoin ETF in the United States.

At the time, he also predicted that Bitcoin ETFs (exchange traded funds) would attract at least $50 billion over the next 12 months.

American Bitcoin ETFs currently hold approximately $1.5 billion in deals with Valkyrie, Van Eck, and ProShares.

Meanwhile, Pierce told Fox Business on Dec. 29: “It is possible that [ราคา Bitcoin] will reach $200,000 at some point. and then it will fall again.”

In an article published on January 22nd, Pierce claims that Bitcoin’s peak price range will not exceed $100,000 in 2021.

“There are quite a few levels where I (expect) Bitcoin to reach resistance. It could be anywhere between $70,000 and $100,000 by the end of the year. But there will be volatility.”

To be fair to Pierce, the price of Bitcoin actually hit his expected low on November 10.

PlanB, an anonymous Bitcoin price analyst famous for price predictions and models. Stock-to-Flow On June 20, PlanB correctly predicted that the BTC price would hit $63,000 in October. But he missed $98,000 and $135,000 in November and December respectively, with PlanB calling these price predictions his “worst case scenario.”

PlanB excused his predictions, citing the statistical model’s accuracy within his one standard deviation, and despite his predictions wrong on Dec. 25, he tweeted:

“$50K-$200K in standard deviation looks too wide. So many people think it makes the S2F model invalid and useless. But is it really like that???”

In an interview with CNBC’s Squawk Box on March 22, Ballet Crypto founder and CEO Bobby Lee predicts that BTC will hit $300,000 this year. This is yet another one of the glue forecasts that have been missed this year.

The public figure’s erroneous price predictions underscore the need for Do Your Own Research (DYOR) to invest in cryptocurrency. And look at price predictions as fun rather than as a serious guideline for the future.
