Britney Spears (39) could finally get rid of the shackles of her guardianship in just a few weeks. But with her newly found freedom, the singer apparently also faces unexpected challenges. At the same time, she explained on Instagramthat she is celebrating Christmas way too early this year and shows a photo of a decorated Christmas tree that she has apparently already set up.

“Because why not?” Asks the singer. She believes that it is good to find more joy in life every possible path “and it is no secret what I have been through in the past. So maybe I will have to do things a little differently from now on”.

The now 39-year-old was incapacitated in early 2008 and her father Jamie Spears (69) was appointed as a guardian. It was recently suspended and a court appointed a provisional successor until the end of 2021. After a hearing scheduled for November, guardianship could be a thing of the past.
