The band plans to release their album “Moon Music” in October – the accompanying record is said to be made of recycled plastic. Not the first attempt by the Brits to do something for the environment.

The band Coldplay plans to release a new album in the fall. “Moon Music” is set to be released on October 4, as the music group announced on the Instagram and X platforms. The album will also be released as a record made from recycled plastic bottles. Recycled materials will also be used for the CD, the record company announced.

The band has campaigned for environmental and climate protection on several occasions. In 2015, the musicians, together with other artists, called for an ambitious climate protection agreement before the climate summit in Paris. On their current tour, the band says they are also trying to reduce emissions that are harmful to the climate.
