Most of the participants in the television show “I’m a Celebrity, get me out of here!”, the British version of the jungle camp, come broadly speaking from two categories. Firstly, people who would like to be famous but are languishing at celebrity regional league level, and secondly, people who were once famous. What both have in common is that they don’t shy away from rolling in the mud or eating animal body parts in front of the cameras. Recently, another category has emerged that the makers of the British offshoot regularly fall back on: politicians who are famous but hated.
