The alert arrived directly in the mailbox of an employee of a company on Boulevard Voltaire, in the heart of the 11th arrondissement of Paris. An anonymous email, received late Tuesday afternoon, indicating that a bomb had been placed inside the company, said a police source.
Immediately informed, the police forces established a large security perimeter around the Charonne metro and evacuated 70 people. The inspection of the building ultimately gave nothing and the police found “no trace of a bomb or explosive”. The device was up in the evening.
