Bill Clinton
Ex-President was allowed to leave the hospital
Ex-President Bill Clinton had to go to hospital at the end of last week because of an infection. In the meantime he was allowed to leave the clinic.
Several days after Bill Clinton (75) had to be hospitalized for a urinary tract infection, the former US president was allowed to leave the facility. This was announced by Clinton’s spokesman Angel Ureña via Twitter. In his post it said, “President Clinton was discharged from UC Irvine Medical Center today. His body temperature and white blood cell count have returned to normal. He will return to his home in New York to complete his antibiotic treatment. “
In the hospital they feel “honored to have treated him,” it said. Clinton was admitted at the end of last week and was meanwhile in the intensive care unit of the clinic, reported “CNN”. However, this was done in order to be able to better protect his privacy there. There was no medical need for this.
Not his first stay in hospital
The former US president has repeatedly struggled with health problems in the past. In 2004, four bypasses were placed on his heart. In 2010 there was another operation on the heart. At that time, two stents were implanted in him to keep the arteries free. Clinton was the President of the United States from 1993 to 2001.
