Some social media users have apparently tried to link Betty White’s death to a corona vaccination.

Betty White (1922-2021) died just days before her 100th birthday, which she would have celebrated on January 17th. Social media users then apparently tried to link the death of the actress and comedian to a booster vaccination against the coronavirus. Her manager Jeff Witjas said on December 3 that the rumors about a possible connection between an alleged vaccination and White’s death were false.

The actress fell asleep peacefully in her home, Vitjas said in a statement, which is available to the US magazine “People”. So there are people who claim that their death was related to a booster vaccination given three days earlier, “but that is not true. She died of natural causes.” White’s demise “shouldn’t be politicized – she never led a life like that”.

She conjured “a smile on the lips of generations”

Last Friday, Vitjas had already confirmed to the magazine that White had died peacefully in her sleep in her home. Countless celebrities, including US President Joe Biden (79), said goodbye to the “Golden Girls” star after the news became known. Biden stated on Twitterthat White “put a smile on the faces of generations of Americans”. He also referred to her as a “cultural icon” that was “sorely missed”.
