The fire service has been going on since the early hours of the morning. The aquarium, which held a million liters of water, is completely destroyed. At least two people were injured by broken glass. All fish died, the fire department confirmed. Furnishings were washed out onto the street by the resulting wave.

The 14 meter high tank with around 1,500 fish, through which you could pass with a lift, was located in the DomAquarée district of the city. There is also a hotel in the building. The guests were brought to safety and looked after by the rescue workers. The area is cordoned off over a wide area. Structural engineers should check whether load-bearing elements of the building have been damaged.
