Berlin: BVG ensures a relaxed Christmas with hemp tickets

See in the video: Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe ensure a relaxed Christmas with hemp tickets.

The Berliner Verkehrsgesellschaft BVG apparently wants a relaxed pre-Christmas period. In the week from December 13th to 17th, the BVG is offering special tickets: Edible hemp tickets – to relieve the stress of Christmas and the notorious curmudgeon of Berlin. But it’s not about droning, as BVG spokesman Jannes Schwentu emphasizes: “Of course, all of this can be seen with a wink. We don’t want to take a position on the topic of cannabis, but we used this topic to get the message across we actually wanted, namely: Take the bus or the subway during the stressful Christmas season. And then we came up with this hemp ticket, which is made with hemp oil, which has no active ingredients, but is a nice action, a nice film is, and whoever wants can buy it at the counter. ” The single tickets cost 8.80 euros and are valid for 24 hours. The passengers have to decide on a day of travel before buying and then receive a pre-validated ticket, as the edible paper cannot be stamped. Several thousand tickets are available that can be used for a trip or kept as a souvenir. It is important, however, not to nibble before setting off. Only a complete ticket in its original packaging is valid, says the BVG. Otherwise, possible controls could be a bit uncomfortable.
