Berg am Laim: A classic user conflict – Munich

In the award-winning landscape park in Berg am Laim, young people regularly celebrate without much consideration for the biotope and neighbors. This bothers the residents, they want their peace and quiet. The district tries to mediate – but is a fair solution even possible in such a case?

Behind the white residential towers, a gravel stretch leads to impassable terrain. Anyone who walks along here knows the terrain or knows that something can be expected here. Between parked cars and piled-up walls there is a pit with building materials. A site fence is no longer straight in its joints, grass grows up between old tracks. Everything looks like a construction site, but then suddenly a footbridge begins.
