Overpriced high-end products are not always necessary to care for our nails. A well-known household remedy also works: apple cider vinegar.

Countless tips, tricks and care products for our fingernails can be found online. A household remedy that is usually used in diets to boost the metabolism has now particularly appealed to numerous nail fanatics: apple cider vinegar. The reasons speak for themselves.

For cleaning and before the manicure

As is well known, many germs and bacteria collect under our nails in everyday life. Since apple cider vinegar has a disinfecting and antibacterial effect, it is ideal for cleaning fingernails. Simply put some vinegar on a cotton pad and use this to clean on and under the nails.

Since apple cider vinegar also degreases, it provides a good base before the manicure. Thoroughly applied, especially on the edges, it removes the excess fat layer on the nail surface. As a result, the nail polish lasts longer and better.
