Beaten for his iPhone 13 and designer clothes

A 15-year-old teenager, already well known to the police, was brought before the Toulouse juvenile prosecutor’s office on Tuesday. He admitted in police custody to having beaten a 20-year-old on Sunday evening. The scene took place at Mirail, shortly before 10 p.m. The victim was going to a friend’s house when he was hailed in the street by the teenager. The latter asked him to lend him his phone, an iPhone 13, for a brief troubleshooting call.

The passer-by naively accepted. But, once the call was made, instead of recovering his device, he received a shower of blows. Other young people joined the first aggressor in knocking him to the ground, with their fists or their feet. From a police source, the band, visibly fond of the Nike brand, only stopped the torture after having “almost undressed” its target, taking away its sneakers and its jogging.

Clothes in the trash

The stripped youth took refuge with a merchant. He warned the police who, thanks to the precise description of the telephone borrower, were quick to arrest a suspect. The latter admitted the violence but not the thefts. The victim’s clothes were found by the police in a local trash can.
