Bayern wins again clearly – Berlin equalizes

The Bayern basketball players also clearly win the second BBL semi-final game against Würzburg, while Berlin equalizes after an equally convincing performance against Chemnitz.
As in the opening game, Bayern exploited their size advantage, with Devin Booker and Serge Ibaka scoring the first eleven Munich points. This time, however, Würzburg held on for longer and, thanks to Zac Seljaas, reduced the score to 21:22 at the quarter break. In the second period, the guests were also mostly on par with the favorites and were only behind 44:48.
After the break, Darius Perry kept Würzburg in the game for a long time, but at the end of the third period, Bayern still had a double-digit lead for the first time. Across the quarters, Munich pulled ahead to 90:65 with a 22:5 run and decided the game early. Three Bayern players, Isaac Bonga, Carsen Edwards and Vladimir Lucic, scored 14 points.
Alba equalizes against Chemnitz
Alba Berlin has tied its semifinal series against the Niners Chemnitz at 1:1. After the Albatrosses lost their first home game at the start of the semifinals, they won their second game at home on Friday with a clear score of 86:64 (48:40). The Berlin defense held Chemnitz to 24 points after the break and a total of 64 points – in no other BBL game this season have the Saxons scored fewer points.
The Albatrosses immediately found their rhythm of shooting from outside, worked harder on the boards than in the first game and were leading by double figures after just five minutes (14:4). In the third period, the Berlin team forced Chemnitz to lose some of the ball, and the hosts ended the third period with a 16:5 run, pulling ahead to 69:52. Louis Olinde (13 points, five rebounds) and Martin Hermannsson (11 points, six assists) were the best Berlin players.
