Huw Edwards appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday wearing a dark suit and sunglasses. Police surrounded the former BBC presenter and shielded him from a crowd of journalists and cameramen who had gathered on Marylebone Road as he made his way into the courthouse. The proceedings in court were not filmed. They did not last very long either: Huw Edwards pleaded guilty to all charges.
