Baz Luhrmann’s biopic ‘Elvis’ to premiere

According to information from variety, the biopic of Elvis, directed by Baz Luhrmann, with Austin Butler in the title role, will be presented in preview at the next Cannes Film Festival. The film could even open this 75th edition on May 17, if the film is released the same day in French cinemas. It is currently still dated Wednesday, June 22. Baz Luhrmann has already opened the Cannes Film Festival twice, in 2001 with red Mill and in 2013 with Gatsby the magnificent.
