Exactly 28,336 people are new Bavarians – that’s how many people were naturalized in the Free State last year. That is around a fifth more than in 2021. For Interior Minister Joachim Herrmann (CSU) a “strong sign of successful integration”. On Friday he presented the naturalization statistics for 2022 at the Bavarian State Office for Statistics in Fürth.
