After heavy sleet showers, four people were injured in six accidents on Autobahn 96 in Swabia. A nine-year-old girl suffered serious injuries, police said on Saturday. The total damage amounts to almost 100,000 euros. In most cases, the drivers did not adjust their speed to the weather, it said.
In the most serious accident between Mindelheim and Bad Wörishofen, a 24-year-old with four girls in the vehicle left the road. The group was going to a sporting event. The car overturned. The driver, a 12-year-old and a 15-year-old were slightly injured, a nine-year-old was unharmed. The other nine-year-old, who was in the passenger seat, suffered potentially life-threatening injuries, police said. Those involved in the other accidents were not injured.
