During a dispute over a taxi in Deggendorf, a 33-year-old broke the nose of a younger man. As the police reported, a 23-year-old had been waiting with friends at a taxi rank early Sunday morning when the 33-year-old came along. There, both parties apparently could not agree on who was allowed to get into the taxi. The 33-year-old then suddenly hit the younger man in the face with his fist, the police report said. The 23-year-old was taken to a hospital. The attacker was said to be so drunk that he fell to the ground several times and could no longer walk on his own. The police therefore took him into custody.
